School Connections

The purpose of this program is to provide post-crisis intervention for children with suspected complex and multiple needs. These children are at the elementary and intermediate school level and are between six and twelve years of age. They are typically verbally and/or physically aggressive and very oppositional.

The project is jointly funded by the Ministry of Community & Social Services (MCSS)/ Ministry of Children & Youth Services (MCYS) and the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB). It is provided in four schools designated by the OCDSB
